SMACKOLA of DIRTY WORMZ & MAYOR OF AUSTIN TEXAS LEE LEFFINGWELL

SMACKOLA of the rap/rock group DIRTY WORMZ was invited as a spe­cial guest to the Grand Open­ing of The Austin Music Foundation’s Cre­ative Media Cen­ter along with the Mayor of Austin Texas LEE LEFFINGWELL. SMACKOLA has been asked to come and give some classes on his Music and Film edit­ing.
The Austin Music Foun­da­tion (AMF) is a non-profit orga­ni­za­tion whose mis­sion is to strengthen and con­nect the cre­ative econ­omy through its edu­ca­tional pro­grams and career devel­op­ment resources to artists.

The Cre­ative Media Cen­ter will pro­vide a Men­tor pro­gram, small group ses­sions with experts in var­i­ous busi­ness aspects of the cre­ative arts, and dig­i­tal recourses for Austin artists.

Artists will be able to work alone or in groups to trans­form their raw con­tent into fin­ished dig­i­tal media. The space will also be home to many of AMF’s events, work­shops and small group sessions.
